Can you believe that it has been two years since we launched the FLIT-16? We certainly can’t!
It’s been quite the journey with some challenges along the way, but what a two years it’s been!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you, and we’ve got some very exciting news to share about what we’ve been up to recently.
Watch below for a full tour of our R&D workshop, our co-founders Alex and Dave answering all of your questions, plus a sneaky peek at what we’ve been working on over the past few months…
More big news: our new logo!
We wanted something a bit more contemporary, that we felt reflected the style of the FLIT-16.
It’s bolder, more unique and we feel it captures the freedom and movement that the bike offers its riders.
We love it and we hope you do too!

The journey so far
We founded FLIT five years ago, with a vision of developing ebikes that are beautifully designed, and fold so compact that you can take them anywhere.
It’s been incredible to see our original concepts come to life and be enjoyed by so many riders across the world.

A lot has happened since we launched on Kickstarter.
After smashing our crowdfunding campaign (raising over 5x our initial target), we were ready to take the FLIT-16 to production.
We manufactured our first batch of bikes (despite the best efforts of a global pandemic!) and delivered them to our very first FLIT riders!

This new found space meant that we could also grow our team. Dave has been joined in what is now a very busy workshop by Matt, Alasdair and a regular stream of Cambridge interns, who will all help bring his future ideas to life.
The customer team has also doubled in size, with Ciaran joining Gemma, producing top quality content and helping to get the FLIT word out.

All of this means that we can start thinking about what’s next. We have some exciting plans and projects in the works that we can’t wait to tell you more about in the next few months (for some sneaky insights make sure you watch the video above!).

Last but not least
We’d also like to say a massive thank you for all of your support over the last couple of years – we couldn’t have done it without you guys.
