OVERVIEW
We want the M2 to be as versatile as possible, and this means knowing which accessories work with the M2 to help you to carry your essentials, light your way, or make sure you’re safer on the road.
Of all the accessories we’ve tried with the M2, these are the ones that we think work best. We don’t stock them all ourselves, so where possible we’ve given key dimensions so that you can use your own accessories as there are a lot out there to choose from!
CARRADICE ORIGINALS CAMPER LONGFLAP – £194.95 (incl. Bagman support)
Carradice is a British brand that makes a wide variety of handmade bike bags of different shapes and sizes. The Originals Camper Longflap Saddlebag paired with Bagman Quick Release Saddlebag Support – Expedition works well with the M2 and can accommodate the fold too. All Carradice bags are hand-made in Lancashire.

CARRADICE SUPER C SQR SLIM – £99.95
The Super C SQR Slim is a compact and streamlined saddlebag in the Carradice Super C Range, designed for cyclists who prefer a minimalistic yet functional bag for commuting and light touring. With a 16-litre capacity, this saddlebag offers enough space for tools, clothing, and daily essentials, while maintaining a sleek profile on your bike.
Made from 18-ounce cotton duck, the Super C SQR Slim is 100% waterproof and features self-sealing seams to protect your belongings in any weather.
This saddlebag attaches securely using the SQR system, providing a stable and easy-to-remove solution for commuters who need quick access to their gear.
Sizing note: The M2 has a thick seatpost (34.9mm) so you will need the large seatpost bands to attach the quick-release bracket.

Front Bags
Not stocked by FLIT
You can attach bags to the front of the bike, but we have 2 main pieces of advice:
- Do not put more than 5kg on the front of the bike or it may affect the steering
- Check you are satisfied that the bags and other attachments will not interfere unduly with the fold
This is the KLICKfix Caddy adapter that is widely used and can be used to attach small bags to the front of the M2:
KLICKfix Adapter Caddy
And this is the oversized version that can attach lower down on the M2 frame, just above the front wheel:
KLICKfix Adapter Caddy (Oversized)
These KLICKfix Caddy adapters work with the compatible KLICKfix adapter plate which can be found built into many bags, baskets, and racks available on the market. A Google search of “KLICKfix bag” should give you hundreds of results from dozens of retailers. We strongly advise not loading bags on the front of the M2 to more than 5kg or they may affect steering.
There is another company called Basil that offers a similar caddy + plate system, but they are smaller and the choice can be more limited. To make things even more complicated, some Basil bags will work with KLICKfix caddies and vice versa – please check with the retailer.
KLICKfix and Basil systems can also be used to attach bags and other accessories to the M2 seatpost.

Knog oi classic Bell – £16.95
Bike bells can be a bit tricky on a folding bike, particularly if they stick out too far and clash during folding. Australian designers Knog spotted that a bell which fits flatter on the handlebar both looks better and is more practical. The Knog Oi Classic bell is often copied, but we still think that the original looks and sounds the best.
Sizing note: we advise the small size of the Knog Oi! as it fits well on the part of the handlebar next to the grip (22.2mm). The bell in the photos below is the small size.

Knog PlugGER front Light – £36.95
On the FLIT M2 we’ve integrated a front light into the handlebars but it is primarily designed to be very visible to others so that you can be safer on the road. If you want to make sure that you can see every crack and tree root on a dark cycleway then we recommend that you add a second front light that can be angled towards the ground.
We really like the Knog Plugger as it does the job well, doesn’t affect the fold, and fits the M2’s styling. Made of overmoulded soft touch TPU, it emits a powerful 350 lumens and is packed with features including a low battery indicator, cut-outs in the front light body for improved side visibility, and USB rechargeability.
Sizing note: we recommend fitting the Plugger light on the left-hand side of the handlebar between the brake lever and the front light to give the best clearance during folding and a good angle to illuminate the path in front of you.

TRElock fs 580 toro – £119.95
The FS 580 is Trelock’s strongest lock in their folding series. The special highlight, however, is the back of the bracket: here, an Apple AirTag or a Samsung SmartTag can be hidden inconspicuously and securely. With the tags, the bike can be tracked via smartphone with minimal effort. The rubberised links made of hardened steel can be unfolded up to 90 cm in length. Locking a bike to a stationary object is very easy. For convenient locking, the lock is equipped with a 360 degree rotatable insertion area on the lock head and a reversible key.
Sizing note: The Trelock FS 580 Toro has an 90cm shackle circumference which will wrap around your M2 and a lampost or bike rack. As with all bike locks, we strongly recommend putting it through the M2’s triangle (between the top tube, down tube, and seat tube) to make things as hard as possible for potential thieves. All Trelocks come with a case that can be bolted onto the FLIT M2’s front fork where its low centre of gravity will not affect your ride.

Mous IntraLock® Bike Mount – £19.99
Not stocked by FLIT
• Designed for use with Mous’s Evolution cases
• Engineered with IntraLock™ technology for ultra-secure mechanical mounting
• Choose between spacers for a snug fit to any of your bikes’ handlebars
• Feel confident bringing your phone on every cycling adventure
Note: The Mous Intralock system is designed to be used with Mous cases. You’ll need to purchase a phone specific case in order to use this system.

Bike Transport Bags
Not stocked by FLIT
There are many transport bags for folding bikes on the market. Any of them will work with FLIT’s folding ebikes as long as they fit in the bag’s carrying dimensions when folded.
One of the most common is the Halfords Folding Bike Bag which is the correct dimensions, packs down small, can be strapped under the bike’s saddle, and is affordable at £20. Nicer options can have more padding or features like wheels for rolling.

FAQs
Can I buy accessories that I find myself with my Cycle to Work order?
We can provide third-party accessories with cycle to work vouchers, but we will have to pass on a 10% commission fee that we are charged by the cycle to work operators. We do not make a profit on these items and are merely passing on the cost.
