We’re super excited to reveal the new Commuter Edition of our lightweight folding ebike, the FLIT-16!
We will be showcasing the bike for the first time at our launch event in Cambridge this week (18th – 20th May) in collaboration with local coffee gurus, Espresso Library. We will be offering test rides on Parker’s Piece too!
The latest edition of the FLIT-16 weighs just 15kg, and can be folded to the size of hand luggage in 10 seconds. Unlike other folding ebikes with an external battery that clips onto the frame, the award-winning FLIT-16 has been designed from the ground up to be electric. This means that the electronics and lithium-ion battery (which gives a range of 50km) are built into the frame, for a clean and simple design. With integrated lights, built-in suspension, puncture resistant tyres, and a folded size that fits under your desk or in a train luggage rack, the FLIT-16 is built for commuters.

Those of you that have been following us from the beginning will know that we launched the original FLIT-16 through a crowdfunding campaign in 2019, smashing our sales target by 5 times. Since then we have delivered ebikes to hundreds of riders from California to Japan, and the FLIT-16 has won the ACID Design Award as well as being a finalist at the Eurobike Startup Awards. We have also received grants from the Department of Transport and Innovate UK to continue to push the boundaries of folding ebike design! We’re very excited for the next chapter of the FLIT story, with our new Commuter Edition!
