The whole team at Hinton Bikes [Edit: now Flit] was excited to make it to the finale of the Design Council’s Design Spark programme: a showcase of all the products at the Design Museum in Kensington on June 26th – 27th.

It was great to spend a couple of final days with all of the talented designers on Design Spark, and to have the opportunity to show off the results of all the hard work from the past few months.
The highlight of the showcase was the award ceremony hosted by Deborah Meaden of Dragon’s Den fame. We were lucky enough to be awarded a special commendation and follow-on funding to help bring our ebike to market.
We’re not going to waste time getting this done: we’re off to Friedrichshafen for the Eurobike trade show on July 8th-10th to meet suppliers, and then meeting with manufacturers for the rest of the month.
